Rice cooking course


Learn everything you need to know about rice in our 2-hour course!

On Friday, May 18th from 10 am to 12 pm, you'll learn how to differentiate rice varieties and how to give them the best culinary use.

No masterclasses in our kitchens! You'll have your own cooking station and will prepare all your dishes yourself.

You'll prepare a delicious asparagus risotto and learn all the tips to make any kind of risotto at home. You'll also cook an authentic Spanish black rice and our chef will share with you all the secrets of cooking rice in a paella pan. And you'll finish with a sticky rice dessert flavoured with coconut milk and banana. Don't miss it!

Territorio Sibarita Wine Pairing

The gourmet store Territorio Sibarita in Arrecife, will teach you how to pair wine and rice dishes and will prepare a selection of wines you can have while you cook and eat.

In this 2 hours cookery course, you’ll learn about rice families and varieties and their use in the kitchen.

We’ll be using 3 types of Tartana rice from Valencia: Bomba, Marisma y Albufera.

Here is the course’s menu:

  • Black rice with Saharian squid
  • Organic asparagus and Lanzarote goat cheese risotto
  • Sticky rice with coconut milk and organic bananas
